Refund policy

At Bagsmith Essentials, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If a product doesn't meet your needs, you can request a return following the guidelines below.

1. Return Period

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

Requests submitted after this period will generally not be accepted.

2. Conditions for Return Eligibility

For a return to be accepted, you must meet these requirements:

– the item must be unused and in original condition
– it must come back in its original packaging
– all accessories, components and extras must be included
– you must provide valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.

We may decline returns if the item shows signs of use, damage unrelated to shipping, missing parts, or is unsuitable for resale.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is for a confirmed faulty or damaged product, you cover return postage.

Any delivery fees paid at purchase are non-refundable. Returns themselves are completely free. No restocking charges, ever.

4. How to Request a Return

To start a return:

– verify the item meets the eligibility rules above
– email us at support@bagsmith-essentials.com to ask for a return form
– fill out the form and place it in the parcel (or write the details by hand if you can't print)
– send the package to the address in the return instructions

When you contact us, let us know what you'd prefer:

– refund
– replacement
– or store credit

5. Return Inspection and Processing

After we receive your return, we'll inspect it to check it meets our return standards.

If approved, Bagsmith Essentials will:

– send your refund through the original payment method
– or dispatch a replacement item (if available)
– or issue store credit, if you requested it

Allow up to 10 business days for us to review and process returns, plus any additional time your bank may need.

Bagsmith Essentials may decline returns that don't meet our conditions or fall outside the return window.

6. Damaged or Defective Items on Arrival

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos as proof.

The item must not have been used, altered or tampered with.

After verification, Bagsmith Essentials can offer:

– a replacement
– a refund
– or store credit

In these cases, we may cover return postage and provide a prepaid return label when possible.

7. Refunds

Once your return is approved and processed:

– the refund goes back to your original payment method
– you'll get a confirmation email

9. Important Information

Please note:

– returns sent cash on delivery (COD) will not be accepted
– refunds can only go back to the original payment method used at checkout
